Ear cropping is a cosmetic surgery routinely done on certain breeds, such as Great Danes, Dobermans, Pit Bulls, etc, to enhance the breed's characteristics.  Dr. Walulik has over 30 years experience with ear crops.

Ear cropping must be approached with the knowledge that you may not achieve the look you hoped for.  Each dog is different and the type of crop, either pet or show, will ultimately make a difference in the final appearance.

There is never a guarentee of a successful ear crop.  We can crop the ear to give the best chance of success, but 80% of a good crop is dependent on the owner's efforts.  An owner must take the time to train the ear to stand.

Best results are obtained if surgery is done between 8 and 12 weeks of age.
